The Bradley men's basketball team completed its 2021-22 roster with the signing of Zek Montgomery (Louisville, Ky.) to a National Letter of Intent on Saturday.

"We are excited to finalize our 2021 class with Zek," said Bradley head coach Brian Wardle. "He is a versatile guard with size that can play multiple positions. He is a very good scorer and we wanted to add another shot maker to this team."

A native of Louisville, Kentucky, Montgomery finished his high school career at St. Louis Christian Academy during the 2020-21 campaign. With the Cougars, Montgomery averaged 19.3 points, 8.5 rebounds, 2.6 assists and 1.7 steals per game. He also collected All-Tournament Team honors at the Grind Session World Championship – one of the nation's premiere high school basketball showcase leagues.

Prior to joining St. Louis Christian Academy, Montgomery played for Fern Creek High School, helping lead the Tigers to the regional and district championships in 2020. The 6-foot-6 guard averaged 14 points and six rebounds during his junior season with the school as he collected all-region accolades.

"I am excited to get to work with this recruiting class and all our returners this summer," Wardle said. "The offseason is the best time to build chemistry and learn more about your team. Last year we did not get this opportunity, so we have to take advantage of every day we have together."

Montgomery joins a Bradley program that has won two of the last three Missouri Valley Conference Tournament titles. He is the sixth student-athlete to sign with the Braves for the 2021-22 campaign – joining Maxime Ekono (Nanterre, France/Scotland Campus), Connor Hickman (Bloomington, Ind./Bloomington South), Mikey Howell (San Marco, Calif./UC San Diego), Malevy Leons (IJmuiden, Netherlands/Mineral Area College) and Terry Roberts (Amityville, N.Y./Florida SouthWestern State).
