Kaboom! Awards: Men's Golf Highlights

The 2021 Kaboom! Awards, presented by RE/MAX Traders Unlimited and supported by PNC, once again will be celebrated virtually over the next two weeks. Kicking off the 2021 Kaboom! Awards today is highlights from the 2020-21 Bradley Men's Golf season.

Once again featuring one of the youngest rosters in the Missouri Valley Conference, Bradley Men's Golf continued to improve during an abbreviated 2020-21 campaign that saw the Braves play in seven events and a total of 16 rounds. After playing just four competitive rounds in the month of March, Bradley fired an 886 at the Murray State Invitational in early April for the lowest 54-hole team score since October 2018.

Playing his second "full season" of golf, super senior Alex Ciaramitaro was one of just two upperclassmen for the Braves and he paced the team with a 74.93 stroke average. Ciaramitaro, who tied for 10^th at the MVC Championship, closed out his career with the seventh lowest career stroke average (75.19) in Bradley history.

Picked ninth in the pre-championship poll, Bradley finished sixth at the MVC Championship which was played in Flossmoor, Ill. Junior Jalen Hodges, who tied for 22^nd at the MVC Championship, finished the year with a 75.93 stroke average, while Josh Kirkham posted a 75.86 average to rank second on the team as the duo both improved their season averages by nearly one and a half shots.

Later today, the 2020-21 Bradley Volleyball season will be highlighted as the 2021 Kaboom! Awards, presented by RE/MAX Traders Unlimited and supported by PNC, continues.
