PEORIA, Ill. – Sixth-year Bradley Women's Basketball Head Coach Andrea Gorski made another addition to the 2021-22 roster with Friday's announcement that six-foot guard Diamond Cannon (Detroit, Mich./King H.S./Columbia State College) has signed a National Letter of Intent.

A NJCAA Third-Team All-American this past season at Columbia State College, Cannon averaged 19.7 points and 9.3 rebounds per game in 2020-21 for the Chargers.  The Tennessee Community College Athletic Association Player of the Year shot 50 percent from the field and 37 percent from three-point range in 2020-21.  Cannon was a two-time all-conference performer during her time at Columbia State, with the thousand-point scorer earning first-team honors in 2020-21 after garnering second-team all-league honors as a freshman.

"We are excited to add Diamond to our Bradley family," said Gorski.  "She brings instant offense and great size at the guard spot. Her experience, work ethic and competitiveness will make an immediate impact from the get go."

Cannon is the third transfer to join the Braves for the upcoming 2021-22 campaign and one of eight newcomers for Bradley, which made the first NCAA Tournament appearance in program history last year.
