Ehrhardt, Hartman & Nacos Earn MVC Good Neighbor Award

ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Junior runner Emma Ehrhardt (Geneva, Ill./Geneva), senior runner Alec Hartman (Westfield, Ind./Westfield) and sophomore women's golfer Sarah Nacos (Washington, Iowa/Washington) have been named State Farm Missouri Valley Conference Good Neighbor Award recipients according to an announcement by the league office.

The Valley recognizes a total of 30 student-athletes annually, honoring the achievements of exceptional student-athletes through the Good Neighbor Award. In order to be eligible, the student-athlete must be in good academic standing, must demonstrate good citizenship through good sportsmanship and significant community service, and must participate in a sport during the season of recognition.

Ehrhardt finished 14^th at the 2020-21 MVC Cross Country Championship in early March, helping the Bradley Women's Cross Country team to a second-place team finish. An honorable mention All-MVC performer in cross country, she also garnered MVC Scholar-Athlete recognition this year in both cross country and track after placing sixth in the 5,000 meters at the MVC Indoor Track & Field Championship along with a seventh-place showing in the 10,000 meters at the MVC Outdoor Track & Field championship this spring.

Alec Hartman • Indoor Track & Field • Westfield, Ind. • Westfield H.S.
Hartman is a nine-time all-conference performer in track and field and part of a three-time MVC championship team in the indoor distance medley relay. A two-time NCAA West Preliminary qualifier, he finished seventh in the 3,000 meters at the Valley Indoor Championship this winter along with helping Bradley to its third DMR title during his career. This spring he finished eighth in the 800 meters at the MVC Outdoor Championship.

A three-time letterwinner in women's golf, Nacos appeared in two tournaments this spring and her 79.88 career stroke average ranks 21^st in Bradley history. She has played in 26 rounds in her three years on The Hilltop and posted the first top-20 finish of her career this spring.
