Ledwein Advances At LPGA Qualifying School

RANCHO MIRAGE, Calif. – Former Bradley Women's Golf standout Taylor Ledwein tied for 49th at the 2021 LPGA and Symetra Tour Qualifying School Stage I tournament over the weekend to advance to Stage II, which will be held in October. 
 
Ledwein finished at one-under for the 72-hole event, which was held Aug. 19-22, to tie for 49th in the field that featured nearly 350 individuals.  Opening the four-round tournament with a one-under 71 at the par-72 Shadow Ridge Golf Club, she was tied for 40th after the first day.  Following a four-over 76 in her second round played at Mission Hills Country Club's Dinah Shore Golf Course, Ledwein made a push with a three-under 69 during Saturday's third round action at the Pete Dye Course to make the cut for Sunday's final round, which featured the top 133 in the field. 
 
During the final day of action, Ledwein returned to the Dinah Shore Course to fire a bogey-free round with a one-under 71 to finish at one-under 287 and was one of 95 individuals to reach Stage II of the Qualifying School; which will be held Oct. 18-24 at Plantation Golf and Country Club in Venice, Fla.
