PEORIA, IL – Shea Stadium once again will be open to full capacity when Bradley Soccer kicks off the 2021 season Aug. 26 against Omaha.  The opener against the Mavericks will launch a 16-game regular season that will see the Braves host nine games at Shea Stadium.

Rolling out a youthful, 31-man roster that includes 28 student-athletes who still own at least three years of eligibility, Bradley will prep for the upcoming season with three exhibition games, highlighted by the annual Danny Dahlquist Memorial Game Aug. 17 against Marquette at Peoria Notre Dame High School.

After visiting Northwestern for an exhibition game Aug. 13, Bradley will welcome Big East foe Marquette to the program's original home field at Peoria Notre Dame High School for the Danny Dahlquist Memorial Game.  Bradley called PND home for its first three seasons as a NCAA Division I program and last faced an outside opponent at that location by downing Aurora, 2-1, Oct. 21, 1989.  While admission will be free for the exhibition against Marquette, donations will be accepted for the Bradley University Danny Dahlquist Memorial Fund.  The Braves will close the preseason Aug. 20 by visiting former Missouri Valley Conference rival Creighton.

Bradley's nine-game, regular-season home schedule will include four non-conference tilts and five Missouri Valley Conference games as part of the league's double round-robin schedule.  In addition to the Aug. 26 opener against Omaha, the Braves will host DePaul Sept. 10 (7 p.m.), Utah Valley Sept. 12 (1 p.m.) and Western Illinois Oct. 18 (4 p.m.) to Shea Stadium.  Bradley's two non-conference road games will be played Sept. 2 at Wright State and Sept. 6 at Oral Roberts.

After opening league play with consecutive road games Sept. 18 at Drake and Sept. 25 at SIU Edwardsville, Bradley will play four of its next five Valley games at home, beginning Sept. 29 (7 p.m.) against Loyola Chicago.  The Braves also will host Missouri State Oct. 2 (7 p.m.) for the annual Bradley University Homecoming Game, followed by Drake Oct. 16 (7 p.m.) and SIU Edwardsville (7 p.m.).  Evansville will visit Shea Stadium Nov. 6 (7 p.m.) for the regular-season finale.

Single-game admission for Bradley Soccer regular-season games at Shea Stadium will be $6 for adults (ages 14-64) and $3 for both seniors (65+) and youth (13 and younger).  Free admission will be granted to Bradley University students, faculty and staff, as well as active members of the military and their immediate family members, all with valid identification.  Braves Club members in the top four donation levels also receive free admission to Bradley Soccer home games: Ruby (eight passes), Diamond (six), Platinum (four) and Gold (two).  Tickets will be available for purchase at the Shea Stadium box office beginning one hour prior to the scheduled kickoff time for each game.
