Men’s Golf Closes Out Action At Wildcat Invitational

MANHATTAN, Kan. -- Bradley Men's Golf had three individuals fire their low round of the season in the final round at the Wildcat Invitational, highlighted by sophomore Brady Kreiter's third-round 75, as the Braves finished 12th in the 54-hole event that wrapped up Tuesday at the par-72 Colbert Hills Golf Club.

Junior Josh Kirkham was Bradley's top finisher for the second time in as many outings this season, tying for 28th overall at 226 after posting an 80 on the final day.

Kreiter had the low score of the day for the Braves with a season-best, three-over 75. Kreiter along with graduate transfer Aaeri Krishnan (77) and junior John Stillman (78) each turned in their lowest round of the season.

Senior Jalen Hodges nearly matched his second round score with a third-round 78 as he tied for 56th overall at 237. Closing out his first tournament as a Brave, Krishnan finished one shot back of Hodges at 238 in a tie for 58^th; while Stillman was next in a tie for 60th at (239) thanks to his final round 78. Kreiter completed the scoring for Bradley in 63rd at 240.

Bradley took 12th in the 13-team field at 935, topping 13th-place Omaha (942) by seven strokes. The Braves were six shots back of 11th-place finisher South Dakota (929) and 18 behind Missouri Valley Conference rival Missouri State, which finished 10th at 917.

Sam Houston State claimed the team title with a three-round total of 864 to top tournament-host Kansas State (873), which was second in the standings, by nine shots.

Bradley returns to action next week at the Valpo Fall Invitational in Chesterton, Ind., Sept. 20 & 21.
