The Bradley cross country teams host their first of two meets during the 2021 season on Friday with the Bradley Intercollegiate at Detweiller Park.

MEET INFO
The women's three-mile race kicks off the Bradley Intercollegiate at 5:15 p.m., followed by the men's 8K at 6 p.m.

Bradley is joined by Division I programs Western Illinois and Wisconsin in addition to seven non-Division I schools.

BRADLEY INTERCOLLEGIATE HISTORY
After last season's meet was canceled due to the pandemic, BU is hosting the Bradley Intercollegiate for 34th time.

The Bradley men have claimed the last seven team titles, while also featuring the individual champion in the last six races. In 2019, Jake Hoffert began his campaign with the first-place finish before finishing the season with his second individual Valley championship.

The women's team won the 2019 team titles and has claimed six of the last seven overall. McKenzie Altmayer also claimed the individual championship for the first title of her cross country career.

LAST TIME OUT
Sophia McDonnell led Bradley in the season opener at Iowa, finishing sixth overall of 121 runners at the Hawkeye Invite. Ashley Maguire was second on the BU women's team in 12th.

Noah Costa led the Bradley men with a 20th-place finish and was followed by Mickey Vreeland in 29th.
