PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Women's Golf returns to the state of Missouri for a second consecutive tournament with the Braves traveling to Columbia, Mo., to participate in the 14th Johnie Imes Invitational Monday through Wednesday.

With nearly two full weeks between outings, Bradley follows up the Payne Stewart Memorial in Springfield, Mo., back on Sept. 13 & 14 with next week's Johnie Imes Invitational which will be held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday at the par-72 Club at Old Hawthorne.

The Braves have participated in nine of the previous 13 Johnie Imes Invitational with the team's last trip to Columbia, Mo., early in the 2018-19 season, when Bradley tied for 10th in the event.

Play begins Monday with the Braves teeing off at 9:30 a.m.  Tuesday's second round will feature tee times starting at 8 a.m., while Wednesday's final round will have an 8 a.m. shotgun start.

Three other Missouri Valley Conference foes in Illinois State, Missouri State and Southern Illinois join Bradley in the 13-team field that features four teams currently in the Golfweek.com top 100 (Missouri, Mercer, Oral Roberts and Eastern Kentucky).  Also scheduled to participate in the Johnie Imes Invitational are Little Rock, Northern Illinois, South Dakota, UAB and Wichita State.

Freshman Maria Perakis has paced Bradley in each of the first two outings of the season and placed in the top 15 in both events.  Owning a 74.17 stroke average this season, Perakis has shot 75 or better in in four straight rounds and five of six rounds this season.

Fellow freshman Kathryn McNease earned her first career top-20 finish at the Payne Stewart Memorial, wrapping up the event with a season-best round of 74.  McNease has three rounds of 75 or better this year and owns a 76.00 stroke average.

Junior Mara Flaherty carded a pair of 74's to wrap up the Payne Stewart Memorial earlier this month and is currently third on the team with a 75.67 average.  She has been among the team's top three finishers in both events so far this season and is the only Brave to have four rounds of 74 or better so far this Fall.

Senior Megan Welch opened the season by tying for ninth at the Redbird Invitational and currently boasts the second-best stroke average on the team at 75.17.

Fellow senior Sarah Nacos rounds out the lineup for Bradley and is the lone Brave to have played at the Club at Old Hawthorne.  Nacos' low round from the 2018 Johnie Imes Invitational was a second-round 78 and was the low round of her freshman year.

After the Johnie Imes Invitational, Bradley will host the Coyote Creek Classic Oct. 9 & 10 at Coyote Creek Golf Club.
