SERIES HISTORY vs. DePAUL | LAST MEETING
  • This will be the 15th meeting between the Braves and Blue Demons.
  • DePaul has claimed 13 of the first 14 matchups, with the last matchup coming in Bradley's opener last season, a 5-2 DePaul victory at The Clubs at River City.
  • Bradley's last victory against the Blue Demons came on a neutral court in 1994.
SERIES HISTORY vs. ARMY
  • The Braves and Black Knights have never met on the Tennis court.
  • The matchup will be BU's first against a member of the United States Armed Service Academies.
  • Bradley will also get a crack at Navy in Florida later this season.
SEASON OPENERS UNDER TYLER
  • The Braves are 3-4 under Matt Tyler in season openers.
  • Tyler is beginning his eighth season at the helm of Bradley Tennis.
NEW NUMBER 1
  • For the first time since the 2016-17 season, Bradley Tennis will have a new full-time No. 1 Singles player.
  • Sandra Maletin, who patrolled the position for all but one match in her career, graduated last December.
  • Bozana Lojpur has played No. 1 once in her career, when Maletin was injured prior to a road contest against #47 Tulsa in 2018-19.
  • BU will also have to find a new No. 1 Doubles pairing. Maletin and Natalia Barbery – who graduated last spring – hold the program record for most wins as a doubles tandem.
FRESH FACE
  • Friday will mark the first dual match of Kirstin Hailey's career.
  • The freshman went 7-2 in singles play during individual competition and captured the Flight 4 title at the Redbird Invite last October.
