Game Recap: Women's Basketball | | Bobby Parker, Sr. Associate AD for Communications and Event & Facility Operations
PEORIA, IL – Senior guard Tatum Koenig scored in double figures for the fifth consecutive game, but Bradley (3-15, 0-9 MVC) could not overcome a frigid shooting afternoon as visiting Northern Iowa (12-6, 5-2 MVC) earned a 60-36 Missouri Valley Conference women's basketball victory Saturday afternoon at Renaissance Coliseum.

After making only 2-of-22 (.091) field goal attempts in the first half, Bradley finished the game just 12-of-57 (.211) from the floor, including 1-for11 from 3-point range.  The Braves held UNI 12 points below their season scoring average by limiting the Panthers to 37.5 percent (21-56) shooting from the field, but the cold opening half simply proved too much to overcome.

Grace Boffeli led the Panthers with 14 points and 10 rebounds.  Karli Rucker was the game's only other double-digit scorer with 10 points as UNI got scoring from 12 different players.

With the first half of the MVC season now complete, Bradley will open the second half of the conference schedule at home by hosting Indiana State Friday (6:30 p.m.) and Evansville Feb. 6 (2 p.m.) at Renaissance Coliseum.
