PEORIA, IL – Due to ongoing issues related to the COVID-19 pandemic, induction ceremonies for the Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2022 have been postponed indefinitely.

"It is always a priority to deliver an experience that is worthy of the accomplishments of our Hall of Fame inductees," said Bradley Senior Associate Athletics Director Bobby Parker, who chairs the Hall of Fame committee.  "Unfortunately, there remain too many questions surrounding the execution of the event, including concerns regarding the ability for the honorees and their families to travel across the country and across our northern border, as well as the fluidity of virus mitigation protocols, which prevent us from being able to guarantee the delivery of the once-in-a-lifetime experience our Hall of Famers deserve this winter.

"As our 2022-23 schedules come together," Parker continued, "we will work diligently to identify dates that will allow the Bradley community to properly celebrate the achievements of the Bradley Athletics Hall of Fame Class of 2022."

The most-recent Hall of Fame class was announced in October:  the 2005-06 Men's Basketball NCAA Tournament Sweet 16 squad, 2007 Soccer All-American Joe Donoho, 2007 MVC Women's Golf individual champion Bari Erais and 2011 Valley Men's Basketball scoring champion Andrew Warren.  The group of honorees was to be inducted into the Hall of Fame during ceremonies surrounding the Feb. 19 men's basketball game against I-74 Rival Illinois State.
