Bradley set to host Illinois-Wesleyan in Exhibition

Peoria, IL. Basketball season is finally back on the hilltop as the Bradley Braves men's basketball team will be back in action against the Illinois-Wesleyan Titans on Wednesday, Nov. 2nd at 7pm at Carver Arena.

 

Exhibition History

  • Bradley owns the all-time series history 38-34

  • Brian Wardle is 8-0 in exhibitions at Bradley and is 13-0 all-time as a head coach in exhibitions.

 

About the Titans

  • IWU was 24-6 a season ago and 14-2 in CCIW play.

  • The Titans made it to the Division-3 Elite Eight before losing to #15 Wabash.

  • Head Coach Ron Rose enters his 17th season of coaching with a record of  294-136

 

About the Braves

  • The Braves were picked to finish second in the MVC behind only Drake who claimed 52 of the possible 54 first place votes.

  • BU will be breaking in two new point guards this season with Duke Deen from Troy and Pop Weathers from State College of Florida.

  • Brian Wardle enters his 8th season for the Braves and holds a record of 110-111.

 

2021-22 Recap

  • Bradley after finishing the regular season 11-7 and 5th in the Missouri Valley Conference standings, fell to Loyola-Chicago in the Quarterfinals of the MVC Tourney.

  • The Braves were once again one of the top teams in the MVC in rebounding and field goal defense, placing top three in both league categories. 

 

Pregame Traditions Making a Return

  • Kids will be invited to participate in starting lineup introductions on the court. 

  • The "Go Braves" mobile app light show will also be making a return next Monday against UW-Parkside
