Peoria, Ill. -- The Bradley Men's Soccer team sent their seniors out with a win on Wednesday night after a victory over Incarnate Word at Shea Stadium.
The Braves celebrated eight graduating players before the contest Wednesday night.
Once the game began, Bradley put a goal on the board first after a shot by junior
Jack Douglas was deflected by a Cardinal player and found itself in the back of the net. The own goal was scored in the sixth minute of the game.
After back-and-forth action, Incarnate Word tied the game in the second half. The game would not stay tied for long as Bradley answered back in the 78th minute on a goal from redshirt freshman
Alex Nicastro.
The score would stand at 2-1 as the Braves earned their fourth win of the season.
