MONTREAL – Former Bradley goalkeeper Logan Ketterer is returning to Major League Soccer.  CF Montréal announced Wednesday the team has signed Ketterer to a one-year contract with two option years in 2023 and 2024.

Ketterer, 28, starred at Bradley from 2012-16.  The two-time (2015, 2016) All-Missouri Valley Conference honorable mention selection finished fifth in program history with 12.0 shutouts in his 51 games played between the pipes.

A fourth-round selection by the Columbus Crew in the 2017 MLS SuperDraft, Ketterer spent two seasons with the Crew and made his debut with the team by playing in a 2018 US Open Cup game against the Chicago Fire.  Ketterer spent the last three seasons with USL Championship El Paso Locomotive, helping the new franchise reach the league playoffs in each of its first three seasons, including a pair of Western Conference finals appearances.

One of the top keepers in the nation's second division pro league, Ketterer tallied 30 shutouts in 82 competitions for Locomotive the last three seasons.  During the 2021 season, he was loaned to the MLS Portland Timbers and Ketterer put up a pair of shutouts in his three games, before returning to El Paso.

Ketterer is one of six Bradley Soccer student-athletes to play in MLS, joining Bryan Namoff (2001-10), Gavin Glinton (2002-03, '07), Tim Regan (2003-08), Luke Kreamalmeyer (2005) and Bryan Gaul (2012-13).

CF Montréal continues its CONCACAF Champions League series against Santos Laguna Wednesday then will open the 2022 MLS regular season Feb. 27 by visiting Orlando City.  CF Montréal is scheduled to visit Chicago Fire Aug. 28 at Soldier Field.
