PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Men's Golf makes its first trip to the state of Arizona since 2015, with the Braves opening the 2022 Spring schedule Monday and Tuesday in Marana, Ariz., at the Dove Mountain Intercollegiate.

After playing its heaviest Fall slate since 1984, Bradley returns to the course for the first time since closing out the 2021 Fall schedule at the Flyer Invitational Oct. 19.  BU's last trip to the Grand Canyon State was the 2015 Spring opener, when Bradley traveled to Goodyear, Ariz., for the Neville Kovacs Group Intercollegiate.

The Braves are one of three Missouri Valley Conference teams in the field along with Northern Iowa and tournament-host Valparaiso.  The five-team field also includes Chicago State and North Dakota State along with individuals from both Arizona and Arizona State.

Play at the par-72 Golf Club at Dove Mountain starts Monday with tee times starting at 9 a.m. (CST) for the day's 36 holes.  Tuesday's final round will also feature tee times beginning at 9 a.m. (CST).  BradleyBraves.com will provide links to live scoring for all three rounds.

Junior Josh Kirkham led the Braves during the fall with a 74.25 stroke average, pacing Bradley in all six fall tournaments.  Kirkham shot 75 or better in 12 of his 16 rounds, with a pair of sub-70 efforts and his season average would be the lowest by a Brave since 2018-19.

Jacksonville graduate transfer Aaeri Krishnan helped bolster the Bradley lineup in the fall, posting a 75.57 stroke average over Bradley's final three tournaments and his season average of 77.38 is second on the squad.

Sophomore Brady Kreiter joined Kirkham as one of three individuals to play in all 16 fall rounds, surpassing his 14 rounds played over his first three semesters at Bradley.

Junior John Stillman has also seen an increased role, playing in 13 fall rounds after appearing in five rounds during the shortened 2020-21 campaign.  Stillman posted a 76.5 stroke average over his final four rounds of the fall.

Fell junior Roy Radke was among Bradley's top three finishers in three of his four appearances in the team lineup this fall, including the Flyer Invitational to close the Fall slate.

Junior Nick Armbrust will be making his first appearance since the Derek Dolenc Invitational in late September in his only outing to date during the 2021-22 season.

Bradley will have a three-week break from competition, following up next week's action at the Dove Mountain Intercollegiate with a trip to Springfield, Mo., for the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate (March 21 & 22).
