The Bradley men's basketball program added a top freshman from the Division II level on Tuesday with the addition of Christian Davis (Denver, Colo.) to the 2022-23 roster.

"Christian is a late bloomer who has grown five inches since he graduated from high school in 2019," said Bradley head coach Brian Wardle. "He is a mature young man that fits in well with our program and is a high-academic student-athlete that excels both on the floor and in the classroom. It is clear that Christian has been very well coached during his career as he has a mature game and is fundamentally sound. He is also somebody that needs to be guarded as soon as he crosses half court due to his ability to shoot with range."

During the 2021-22 season, Davis became the first player at Le Moyne to earn Northeast-10 Conference All-Rookie Team accolades in 13 seasons. He led the Dolphins with 12.9 points, 6.4 rebounds and a 3-point percentage of 35.0 in his freshman campaign – becoming the first-ever player in school history to lead the team in all three categories.

A 6-foot-7 guard/forward from Denver, Davis also added an overall field goal percentage of 42.7, a free-throw clip of 91.3, 31 assists, 28 steals and 26 blocks in 27 games during the 2021-22 campaign. He scored in double figures in 19-of-27 contests as a rookie, adding three double-doubles.

Davis is the second student-athlete to sign with the Braves for the 2022-23 season, joining James "Pop" Weathers (State College of Florida). The duo joins a program that returns nine letterwinners and three starters from a team that finished the 2021-22 campaign with a 17-14 overall record and an 11-7 mark in Missouri Valley Conference action – tied for its most wins in Valley play in the last 21 seasons.
