OXFORD, Miss. – Junior Hannah Ivy ran 400 meters twice Saturday and she came away with a school record both times. After setting Bradley's standard in the individual 400 meters early in Saturday's action on the track at the Joe Walker Invitational, Ivy led off the record-setting 4x400m relay to complete Bradley's participation in the weekend meet at Ole Miss.

Ivy clocked :54.86 for the best time in Bradley Women's Track and Field history and a third-place finish in the field of 31 runners. Freshman Amiyah Davis, who anchored the record-setting relay race to end the day, turned in the third-best time in program history at :55.47 to finish fifth. Ivy handed the baton off to T'ya Suber and Reina McMillan ran the third leg of the 4x400m relay, which set the program record and finished third Saturday in 3:43.40.

After the Braves posted seven personal bests in Friday's opening day at the Joe Walker Invitational, the group turned in seven more PR's Saturday.

Kyra Koontz set the tone for Saturday by racing to a :14.75, third-place finish in the Women's 100m Hurdles. For the second time this spring, Julia Nielsen lowered her PR in the 800m, finishing fifth among 52 runners in 2:05.58, the best in a collegiate race by a Bradley runner and second only to sister Wilma Nielsen's school record set during the 2021 European U23 Championships.

Among the six men to run the 800 meters, Max Dieterich paced the Braves with a 14th-place finish in 1:50.57, while Will Smith (1:51.61) and Ivan Westcott (1:52.34) both posted PR's.

The Braves will return to action next week with three events currently on the slate: Bryan Clay Invitational and Mt. Sac Relays, both in California, as well as Saturday's Redbird Challenge at Illinois State.
