Men’s Golf Adds Illinois Transfer Luke Armbrust

PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Men's Golf Head Coach Jeff Roche added Illinois transfer Luke Armbrust (Wheaton, Ill./St. Francis/Illinois) to the 2022-23 roster, announcing the older brother of current Brave Nick Armburst will join the squad as a graduate transfer.

A three-year letterwinner for the Illini, Luke was sixth for Illinois with a 74.52 stroke average in 2021-22 and was the medalist at the Butler Spring Invitational in late March. He fired a career-best 67 in the second round of the Millikin Country Club Classic this past fall and carded four of his 19 rounds in the 60's this past season. In 39 career collegiate rounds, he owns a 74.85 stroke average.

Prior to Illinois, Armbrust was the 2016 IHSA Class A individual medalist and was a four-time all-conference performer at St. Francis.

A two-time Academic All-Big Ten performer, Armbrust majored in business at Illinois.
