Bradley Places 12 on MVC Track Scholar-Athlete Team

ST. LOUIS – Displaying excellence in the classroom and in competition, Bradley Track and Field has placed 12 student-athletes on the 2022 Missouri Valley Conference Scholar-Athlete Team, according to an announcement from the league office Tuesday morning.
 
In order to qualify for the honor, Valley track and field student-athletes must be at least a sophomore in academic and athletic standing with a minimum 3.30 cumulative grade point average and they must have scored (top-eight finish) individually or participated on a relay squad that finished among the top three at either the 2022 MVC Indoor Track and Field Championships or the 2022 MVC Outdoor Track and Field Championships.
 
Among the 12 MVC Scholar-Athletes from Bradley, five are scheduled to compete later this week at the 2022 NCAA Track and Field Championships West Preliminary:  Tiana LoStracco (Women's 1,500m); Sophia McDonnell (Women's 3,000m Steeplechase); Julia Nielsen (Women's 800m); Wilma Nielsen (Women's 800m); and Charlie Parrish (Men's 3,000m Steeplechase).
