The Bradley men's basketball team signed 6-foot-8 forward Goanar Biliew (Denison, Iowa) on Saturday, completing the Braves recruiting class for the 2022-23 season.

"We are excited to add Goanar as our final piece of our roster," said Bradley head coach Brian Wardle. "His story is one to admire and he is an easy person to root for as he has constantly overcome adversity. He is a natural winner as he had success every step of his career. Goanar is a strong 6-foot-8, 230-pound forward that plays very hard and physical. I love that he has improved every year, which means he is coachable and has a great work ethic. His best years are ahead of him and we couldn't be more excited to have him at Bradley."

Biliew helped lead Des Moines Area Community College to a 49-13 record in his two years with the program, winning the NJCAA Division II National Championship in 2021 before advancing to the Final Four in 2022.

A NJCAA All-Region XI First Team selection, Biliew averaged 12.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 1.4 blocks per game during the 2021-22 campaign with the Bears, while ranking 18th nationally with a field goal percentage of 62.1. Overall, in his two seasons on campus, Biliew totaled 570 points – shooting 60.9 percent from the field – to go with 316 rebounds and 71 blocked shots in 58 career games.

Biliew completes Bradley's four-man recruiting class for the 2022-23 season, joining guards Christian Davis, Cody "Duke" Deen and James "Pop" Weathers. The four join a program that returns nine letterwinners and three starters from a team that finished the 2021-22 campaign with a 17-14 overall record and an 11-7 mark in Missouri Valley Conference action – tied for its most wins in Valley play in the last 21 seasons.
