NORMAN, Okla. – For the eighth consecutive year Bradley Men's Golf earned Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) All-Academic Team honors, according to a recent announcement by the GCAA.

Bradley was one of five Missouri Valley Conference squads recognized by the GCAA for finishing the 2021-22 school year with a 3.00 team grade point average, joining Belmont, Drake, Evansville and Valparaiso.  The Braves posted a 3.38 GPA during the 2021-22 academic year.

The Braves have been recognized with the GCAA All-Academic Team award each of the last eight years, which included leading the MVC in GPA in 2014-15.  Belmont, Evansville and Valparaiso join BU as the only MVC programs to earn the distinction each of the past eight years and the group is among 22 NCAA Division I teams honored each of the last eight seasons.

A college or university must submit the grade point averages for each player on its official squad list for the academic year in order to be eligible for GCAA All-Academic Team honors. To qualify as an All-Academic Team, the team must have a cumulative 3.0 or better grade point average for the year.

Five of six individuals on the 2021-22 roster landed on the Bradley Athletic Director's Honor Roll in at least one of the two semesters for registering a GPA of 3.30 or higher, with four Braves earning the honor both semesters.  For the first time since 2018-19, the Braves had two MVC Scholar-Athlete honorees with graduate transfer Aaeri Krishnan and John Stillman both taking home honorable mention MVC Scholar-Athlete recognition in 2021-22.
