Baseball Receives Fifth-Straight ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award

For the fifth-consecutive year, the Bradley baseball team was recognized by the American Baseball Coaches Association for its success in the classroom by receiving the seventh-annual ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award.

The Braves finished the 2021-22 academic year with a 3.31 team grade point average, easily exceeding the 3.0 cumulative GPA required to receive the ABCA Team Academic Excellence Award – the program's sixth time overall collecting the honor.

Bradley was one of four Valley schools to receive the accolade during the 2022 season. Additionally, BU is the only program in the conference recognized in each of the last five seasons and one of just 25 schools nationally (of 301 Division I programs) to earn five-straight honors.

On the field, Bradley finished the 2022 campaign by placing fourth in the Missouri Valley Conference standings with an 11-10 league record. It marks the first time in school history that the Braves posted four-straight winning seasons in MVC play.
