The Bradley women's golf team concluded play at the Nittany Lion Invitational on Sunday, firing a weekend-best 299 to improve its place by three spots during the final round.

Junior Harriet Barker set her career best with a final day 73 to lead the Braves. Junior Grace Aromando wasn't far behind her teammate and matched her round one score of 74. Overall, Aromando led the Braves by shooting 224 during the weekend, placing 25th overall in the 16-team field.

Bradley improved its score in each round during the weekend with its 299 stroke total on Sunday ranking eighth among the 16 teams. The Braves would finish 11th overall by shooting 911, rising from 14th after Saturday's 36 holes.

The Braves are back in action in eight days, competing at Missouri's Johnie Imes Invitational on Sept. 26.
