Red-White Showcase Set for October 15

Fans of the Bradley basketball programs will get their first glimpse of the Braves on the court this season with the annual Red-White Showcase, set for Saturday, Oct. 15.

The Bradley volleyball team opens the night with a home match against Indiana State (5 p.m. first serve) before the basketball programs take the court no earlier than 7 p.m. at Renaissance Coliseum for their annual preseason showcase event. The night is set to include team introductions, skills and practice competitions plus promotions and giveaways.

In addition, the Braves are including a Warehouse Sale during the Red-White Showcase, featuring Bradley gear from long-sleeve and short-sleeve t-shirts, pants and shorts to miscellaneous blank jerseys and sporting equipment.

Tickets will include entry to both the volleyball match and the Red-White Showcase and start at just $5 for general admission with premium courtside seats available at $20. Braves Club donors at the Silver level or higher also receive free admission on the night, as well as all Bradley home events (not including men's basketball season tickets).

The Red-White Showcase is the first on-court event of the 2022-23 preseason for the BU basketball programs. The Bradley men's team returns nine letterwinners and three starters from a team that posted an 11-7 record in Missouri Valley Conference play last season – tied for its most Valley wins in the last 21 seasons. The women's program, meanwhile, welcomes new head coach Kate Popovec-Goss to The Hilltop from Northwestern and is just two years removed from its first conference championship and NCAA Tournament bid.

Season tickets for the 2022-23 campaigns remain on sale – starting at just $75 for men's tickets and $60 for women's – and can be purchased at the Bradley Athletics Ticket Office at Renaissance Coliseum (309-677-2625 or BradleyBraves.com/Tickets) with the ticket office open 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
