Pekin, Ill. -- The Bradley Women's Tennis team hosts Chicago State to start their 2023 season on Saturday morning.

The Braves will take on the Cougars at Parkside Fitness Center in Pekin, Illinois. The first serve comes at 10 a.m. All fans are welcome to watch the matches. 

About Chicago State

This is the fifth match of the season for the Cougars. They bring a record of 0-4 in the match after suffering losses to Northwestern, Purdue, Montana State and Northern Illinois. 

The Cougars are coached by Jack Barton who is in his 13th season at the helm of the program. 

About Bradley

Bradley has not competed in tournament play since last October when they wrapped up at the ITA Central Region Championships. 

The Braves roster does not have a single senior on the team but they do have three experienced juniors with Madalena Andrade, Maria Bezmenova and Alexandra Hildreth. The rest of the team will gain more experience as the Braves have three freshman in Anna Belogliadova, Mariia Pukhina and Madi Rogers, along with the lone sophomore Kirstin Hailey.
