PEORIA, Ill. – The Bradley men's and women's cross country teams will host this year's Bradley Pink Classic on Friday, Oct. 13. The race is located at Newman Golf Course in Peoria, Illinois.
Meet Information
The men kick things off at 1:30 p.m. CT with the Men's 8K White race. At 2:15 p.m. CT the Women's 6k White race begins. At 3:00 p.m. CT the Men's 8k Red race starts, followed by the Women's 6k Red race at 3:45 p.m. CT.
Last Time Out
Bradley's last meet was in Columbia, MO, for the Gans Creek Classic. The men's team took fourth place out of 20, and the women's team took 15th out of the 23 competing schools.
In the Men's D-I 8K race, Freshman
Jayde Rosslee took seventh place, with a time of 24:12.6. Sophomore
Michael Rebello finished in 10th place with a time of 24:22.2.
The women's side for the Braves was highlighted by a 19th-place performance in the Women's D-I 6K race by junior
Abigail Hancock.
Last Time at the Bradley Pink Classic
Northwestern University took first place in the women's red race during the 2022 Bradley Pink Classic. The Bradley Women's team took third place in the red race.
Nicola Jansen placed second individually with a time of 19:57.4.
In the women's white race, Grand Valley State University took first. Bradley's Women's team took sixth place in the white race.
Lily Strauss led the team with a time of 22:38.8, finishing 12th individually.
In the men's red race, Loyola University Chicago took first place as a team. Bradley's men's team took fifth place in the red race. This came from the great performances of
Alec Danner, who ran a 23:46.2 and placed 11th,
George Watson, who ran a 23:47.2 and placed 12th and
Charlie Parrish, who finished at 23:49.7 taking home 13th place.
Grand Valley State University's Men's team took first in the men's white race as well. The Bradley men's team took second in the white race.
Noah Costa placed fifth individually with a time of 25:19.3.
