PEORIA Ill. – Bradley Volleyball returns to Renaissance Coliseum this weekend to continue its conference slate. The Braves are set to face Murray State on Friday for Pink Out night at 6 PM and Belmont on Saturday at 5 PM for Kids Night.
Matchups
On Friday night, Bradley matches up with Murray State for the second time this season. The Braves were swept in a very close match in Murray, Kentucky, earlier this season. Silan Demirkol led the team with nine kills, while Karagan Coggin tallied seven. Kendall Minta recorded 10 blocks. The Racers currently hold third place in the Missouri Valley Conference with a 5-2 record.
The Braves play Belmont on Saturday night to close out the weekend. Bradley was defeated by Belmont earlier this season by a score of 3-0. Demirkol collected 11 kills and 13 digs in the contest, while Karina Simatos had four service aces. In the MVC this season, the Bruins are 4-3 and hold seventh place.

Bradley is hosting the annual Pink Out night on Friday night versus Murray State. On Saturday night, the Braves host their annual Kids Night at Renaissance Coliseum. All kids under 18 will receive free admission to the game and they are encouraged to arrive 20 minutes early for a special kids' tunnel experience.
The Braves currently hold a 7-12 overall record and are looking for their first win in the Missouri Valley Conference. They are first in the MVC in aces per set with 1.72 and fourth in blocks per set with 1.99. Minta holds a .331 hitting percentage, the sixth best in the Valley, and is also sixth in blocks per set with 0.66.
In her career, Coggin is 36 kills away from joining the 1,000 kill club. She would be the 16th player in Bradley history to join the club. She is also second all-time in sets played with 489, with the all-time record held by Cheryl Christiansen at 510.
