PEORIA, Ill. – The Bradley men's and women's cross country teams are going to Nashville, Tenn., to compete in the Missouri Valley Conference Championship, hosted by Belmont University. The event will take place on October 27, beginning at 10 a.m. CT.

The event is held at Percy Warner Park. Coverage will begin at 11:00 a.m. CT, over on ESPN+.
The Women's 6k race kicks off at 10 a.m. CT. The Men's 8k race will follow at 11 a.m. CT.
Last Time Out
The men's cross country team competed at the Stan Lyons Invitational, hosted by Butler University on October 20. Freshman
Zachary Balzer led the charge, placing fifth with a time of 23:05.7. The next Brave to finish was Junior
Mickey Vreeland, who finished with a time of 23:57.6 and placed 15th.
The Braves women's cross country team last competed at the Bradley Pink Classic in Peoria on October 13. The team finished in 20th place in the Women's Red race. They were led by Junior
Ashley Maguire, who finished with a time of 21:23.1 and placed 14th.
Last time at MVC Championship
In 2022, both Bradley men's and women's cross country teams won the MVC championship. The men won by four points, as the women won by 56 points.
Nicola Jansen took first in the women's race, recording a time of 20:22.6 for the Braves. Bradley rounded out the top five with
Tyler Schwartz who placed third with a time of 20:53.0,
Peyton Schieppe with a time of 21:15.1 and Redshirt Junior
Wilma Nielsen who finished with a time of 21:19.8.
The men were led by
George Watson who finished with a time of 24:32.3 and finished the race in second place. Right behind Watson was
Alec Danner, who ran a 24:33.4 and placed third.
Matt Aho rounded out the top ten for the Braves, placing seventh with a time of 24:46.9.
