Box Score PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley Men's Basketball took a win over Saint Ambrose in exhibition play by a score of 74-61.

The Bradley Braves welcomed Saint Ambrose to Carver Arena for their only exhibition game of the 2023-24 season.
In the first half, Bradley started out strong with an early 13-0 lead over Saint Ambrose. BU led after the half by a score of 46-24. From the three point line, the Braves shot 47.4% with a total of nine.
Malevy Leons and Darius Hannah both had towering dunks over the Bees defense in the first half. Leons, Duke Deen, Almar Atlason and Christian Davis all landed two three pointers for the Braves.
The Bees outscored the Braves in the second half 30-23.
Bradley had 10 three pointers in the contest and a 35.7 percentage. At the free throw line, the Braves shot 80%. BU induced 24 Saint Ambrose turnovers and recorded 23 points off turnovers.
Leons led the Braves with 13 points, while newcomer Demarion Burch was second with 11. Hannah tallied six rebounds with three blocks. Burch and Emarion Ellis both collected three steals against the Bees.
The bench recorded 34 of the 74 Braves points. Defensively, Bradley had 31 rebounds and seven blocks. On the fast break, the Braves collected 19 points while Saint Ambrose recorded six.
Looking Ahead
Bradley's first regular season game of the season is on Monday at UAB. They will return home on Saturday, Nov. 11 to face Utah State. The Braves and the Aggies will tip off at 7 PM from Carver Arena. Both games will be streamed on ESPN+ or listen here.
