Box Score PEORIA, Ill. – To start the 2023 SoCal Challenge, Bradley defeated Tarleton State by a score of 86-63 on Tuesday night.

Bradley topped Tarleton State in their first ever matchup on Tuesday night at Carver Arena. The Braves took down the Texans with a score of 86-63.
In the first half, the Braves led the Texans by an impressive score of 46-33. Bradley was 61.5% from the field with 10 made three-pointers and 18 rebounds compared to Tarleton State's three three-pointers and 10 rebounds.
Christian Davis had a Bradley-best 11 points, nine of those from beyond the arc. Darius Hannah tallied nine rebounds and five assists with two blocks. Malevy Leons had seven points and Almar Atlason was 2-for-3 from the three-point line.
Bradley made the three-pointers rain in the second half with seven more for a total of 17 in 28 attempts. That is tied for second all-time in Braves history in three-pointers made. Atlason ended his night 6-for-7 from behind the arc, the seventh best percentage in Bradley history.
Atlason scored all of his points from the three-point line with 18 points. Davis followed with 16 after he shot 6-for-9 from the field. Leons and Duke Deen both had 13 points. Hannah collected 10 rebounds and Connor Hickman had six assists and three steals.
The Braves recorded 14 more three pointers than the Texans. From the field, Bradley shot 61.5% compared to 38.2% from Tarleton State. Bradley also had 16 more assists and 25 points off turnovers in the victory.
