PEORIA, Ill. – Bradley volleyball lost two games at home this weekend against Valparaiso and UIC.
The Braves started strong Friday night against Valparaiso. They won the first set 25-19 and the second 25-23.
The Crusaders came out hot, winning the third set 25-19 and the fourth set by a score of 25-22. The fifth and final set ended 15-12, with a Valparaiso victory.
Sophomore
Kendall Minta recorded 11 kills and nine blocks, the most for the Braves. Redshirt Senior
Loren Scott notched 38 assists. Graduate Student
Dru Kuck led the Braves in digs with 23.
On Saturday, the Braves hosted UIC. The Flames won the first set 25-20, the second 25-19 and the third set for the sweep by a score of 25-13.
Fifth-year Senior
Karagan Coggin led the Braves with 11 kills. Scott recorded 25 assists. Senior
Jasmine Green had four blocks.
UP NEXT…
Bradley will be hitting the road and heading to Springfield to take on the Missouri State Bears. The game will take place on Friday, Nov. 10, at the Hammons Student Center. The match will start at 6 p.m. CT.
Following their match against the Bears, the Braves will reenter Illinois to face Southern Illinois University in Carbondale. The game will begin at 5 p.m. CT at the Banterra Center on Saturday, Nov. 11.
