AKRON, Ohio. – Bradley Men's Basketball lost to Duquesne on Monday night at LeBron James Arena by a score of 69-67.
Bradley held a 40-37 lead over Duquesne at halftime. The Braves tallied 23 rebounds in the first half, nine on the offensive side. They also had 13 points off the bench, while Duquesne recorded nine. Bradley shot 50% from the field and 62.5% from the three-point line in the half.
Duke Deen led the Braves with 10 points, three assists and three steals. Deen and Almar Atlason were both 2-for-3 from beyond the arc. Darius Hannah recorded eight points and five rebounds. Malevy Leons also collected five rebounds.
The Dukes topped the Braves in the second half with a score of 69-67. Bradley shot 48.1% from the field and 44.4% from the three-point line. They had 37 rebounds and eight blocks.
Leons ended his night with his ninth career double-double. He tallied 11 points, 10 rebounds, three blocks, two steals and one assist. Deen had 15 points with four assists, three steals and three rebounds. Hannah recorded 14 points and six rebounds. Ahmet Jonovic collected seven points and three blocks.
Looking Ahead
Bradley returns home on Dec. 21 to face SIUE at 7 PM. Their final non-conference game of the year is on Dec. 28 against Truman State at Carver Arena at 7 PM.
Missouri Valley Conference play resumes on Jan. 3 on the road versus Valparaiso at 7 PM.
