AKRON, Ohio. – Bradley Men's Basketball fell to Akron on Tuesday night on the road by a score of 67-52.
The Braves led the Zips at halftime by one point at 29-28. Bradley was 44.4% from the field after they made 12 shots in 27 attempts.
Bradley had the one point advantage due to a three-point shot from Duke Deen at the buzzer.
Malevy Leons led the way with seven points for the Braves. Almar Atlason tallied six points in the first half. Darius Hannah had five points after his dunk in the opening minute.
In the second half, Bradley fell to Akron with a final score of 67-52. 15 of their points came from the bench. There were eight ties and 11 lead changes throughout the game in Bradley's loss.
Deen was 2-for-3 from beyond the arc with 14 points. The senior was 6-for-9 from the field. Off the bench, Atlason collected 11 points. Darius Hannah recorded 11 points, five rebounds, two assists, a block and two steals. Leons ended his night with six rebounds to lead the Braves.
Looking Ahead
Bradley has a break in their schedule until Dec. 15. On that Friday, the Braves return to Carver Arena to face Cleveland State at 7 PM.
They go back to Akron, Ohio, to play Duquesne at LeBron James Arena at St. Vincent-St. Mary's High School on Dec. 18.
