Peoria, IL. The Bradley Braves 16-8 (9-4) will travel to Cedar Falls, IA to play the Northern Iowa Panthers 12-11 (8-5) on Saturday night for their second meeting this season.

Setting the Table
Bradley comes into this contest fresh off a win against the Southern Illinois Salukis in Peoria and as a result are now tied for 1st place in the Missouri Valley Conference with Drake, Southern Illinois, and Belmont. BU has now won three games in a row for the second time this season, a win against UNI would give BU their 5th MVC road win and 2nd regular season sweep of an MVC team. When it comes to UNI they are coming off a much different result in their last contest against Drake. The Panthers dropped a 2OT thriller in Des Moines, IA despite getting 30 points and two buzzer beating shots from PG Bowen Born. UNI now sits one game out of first place and will look to keep pace in the MVC race where eight teams are within one game of first place. These two programs are separated by just one game in the all-time series with UNI holding a 36-35 edge and both are tied at five wins a piece in the last 10 meetings.

Scouting the Panthers
UNI is lead by the scoring guard Bowen Born. Born is currently averaging 19.3 PPG, 2.7 APG, and 2.3 RPG while shooting 41% from the 3-point line. The Panthers also feature a strong presence down low with the MVC's leading rebounder in Tytan Anderson. Anderson is giving UNI 12.7 PPG, 9.4 RPG on 48% shooting from the floor. The Panthers are coached by Ben Jacobson who is in his 17th season of leading the UNI program. Jacobson has collected four regular season conference championships and four conference tournament championships. UNI has won four of the last five meetings between the two schools in Cedar Falls and in the last six seasons UNI and Bradley have split the regular season meetings five times.

Scouting the Braves
Bradley, heading into Saturday's showcase is tied for 1st in the MVC standings after defeating SIU in Peoria back on Wednesday night. Bradley has had a number of players step up this season and is in large part the reason why they are so hard to guard, to date BU has had nine different players score in double figures this season. This Saturday Bradley will look to duo of Rienk Mast and Malevy Leons, who's one-two punch efforts have fondly given them nickname "The Flying Dutchmen" by media and fans. In BU's last encounter with UNI Mast recorded a 13 point and 11 rebound double-double while Leons locked down the defensive half of the floor. Most recently, graduate senior Ja'Shon Henry has been a bright spot for BU off the bench by scoring 10+ points in four of his last five outings. He is closing in on 1,000 career points with 47 points to go to claim that milestone.
