Houston, TX. -- The Bradley Women's Golf team places two in the top 20 for an eighth-place finish as a team at the HCU Husky Invite.
Freshman Allison Pacocha finished tied for 14th to lead the Bradley Braves at the HCU Husky Invite on Monday and Tuesday. Fifth-year senior Megan Welch collected the other top 20 finish with a tied for 19th finish.
The HCU Husky Invite, formally known as the HBU Husky Invite, consisted of 54 holes of play starting with 36 holes of consecutive play on Monday. Welch led the Braves in the first round with a one-over-par, 73. Pacocha led Bradley in the second round on Monday afternoon with a two-over-par, 74. The Eureka, Illinois native led the Braves in the last round as well, carding a four-over-par, 76.
Maria Perakis totaled a three-round score of 238 after rounds of 80-79-79.
Grace Aromando carded rounds of 76-82-81 for a three-round total of 239.
Mara Flaherty rounded out the Braves with a three-round total of 253 after rounds of 89-83-81.
Sam Houston State won the event at +16 as a team.
