Johns Creek, Ga. -- The Bradley Women's Golf team ends the Georgia State Invitational on a high note with the second-best team score in a round in program history.
Third-Round Record Score
287 is the second-lowest single-round score in Bradley Women's Golf program history originally set in October of 2019 at the Little Rock Classic. After a first-round score of 320 and a second-round score of 297, the Braves improved by 10 strokes in the third round after scoring 287 in the final round of the Georgia State Invitational.
Career Bests
Two players set career lows in Tuesday's final round as
Mara Flaherty and
Megan Welch both carded 70s to lead the Bradley Braves. This is the first time that both players have shot under par in their time at Bradley with two-under rounds.
Leaderboard Rundown
Megan Welch and
Allison Pacocha led the team in the final scoring as they both finish tied for 32nd with three-round scores of 226.
Maria Perakis finished tied for 40th with a three-round total of 229.
Mara Flaherty finished one stroke behind Perakis at 230 and tied for 46th.
Grace Aromando rounds out the scoring for the Braves with a three-round total of 233.
