Peoria, Ill. – Coming from a town of 800 people and a very small high school class, Danielle Lemek ended up as one of the most decorated women's golfers in Bradley history.

Danielle Lemek was the second four-time Class C state individual champion in Nebraska history. At Doniphan-Trumbull school, her last round was a state championship record of 67 to win her fourth straight title.

Coming into Bradley, she had won the Nebraska Junior PGA Championship and qualified for the 2012 Optimist International Junior Golf Championship.

On the Hilltop, Lemek earned MVC Freshman of the Year honors in 2012-13 and three straight MVC Golfer of the Year awards between the 2014-16 seasons to become the only player to win three in a row. Her 66 score at the Plantation Inn Intercollegiate is still the best score in Bradley history.

She also has the most consecutive rounds in the 70's with 32, the most in school history. Her 2013-14 stroke average of 73.61 is the second best in MVC history.

Lemek was a three-time 1st MVC Scholar-Athlete and Bradley's Most Outstanding Female Athlete in 2012-13. In 2014, she was a MVC Medalist and won the MVC Commissioner's Academic Excellence Award.

After Bradley, Lemek competed in the LPGA Tour for a spot on the Epson Tour. She was named the Nebraska Amateur Player of the Year in 2014 and 2015. An ankle injury in 2017 halted her competition but she competed on the tour in 2018 and 2019. She still plays in opens from time to time.

With her marketing degree from Bradley, she also is a distributor for a dietary supplement company. She has been a golf sales associate at Dick's Sporting Goods for almost seven years.
