Peoria, Illinois - The Bradley Track and Field team struck gold twice Friday night as Tianna LoStracco and Jack Crull gave the Braves a first-place sweep in the Women's and Men's 1500m.
LoStracco's late kick surpassed her own school record of 4:18.92. The Guelph, Ontario, Canada native will have a chance for a second title as she races tomorrow afternoon in the women's 800m scheduled for 2:28. Tianna is only Brave to participate on the meets final day.
 
Crull followed with a kick of his own to win the Men's 1500m as the Jefferson City sophomore hit the tape at 3:43.18. Jack ran for a personal high for his effort, and just missed the school record of 3:43.03 set by Dan Gagne in 2017. The championships were the second and third of the meet. Trixie Wraith kicked off the competition on Thursday morning victorious in the College/University W 800m.
 
The hits just kept coming! The Women's 4x200 team of Jada Vaughn, Sierra Bryant, Amiah Davis, and Leah Thames set a school record of 1:42.52.
Amiah Davis, coming off a recent injury, was a factor in the team's record-breaking performance.
 
The day concluded with a third place in the men's 4x800m in a time of 7:33.31. Zach Albrecht/Ivan Wescott/Mason Jones/Will Smith ran for the Braves.
 
Bradley started the second day with a third-place finish in the Women's 4x1600m.
Ashley Maguire, Peyton Schieppe, Kaitlyn Schwartz, and Trixie Wraith set a school record with a
time of 19:28.04.

On day two at the Kip Janvrin Open hosted by Simpson College, a pair of sprinters made their marks in the 100m event's.
 
St. Louis, Missouri's freshman Leah Thames finished third with a time of 12:41. She continues to sparkle in here first year on the team.
 
Eli Rieker turned in a terrific performance in the Men's race! The Peoria sophomore finished third with a time of 10.95.
