Richmond, Ky. -- The Bradley Women's Golf team finish ninth after a good start to the Colonel Classic.

After posting a 287 in the final round of the Georgia State Invitational, the Bradley Women's Golf team posted a 294 in the first round of the Colonel Classic. Junior
Grace Aromando headlined the Braves lineup in the first round with a career-best score of 71.
Monday consisted of 36 holes of play and the final 18 holes on Tuesday.
In the second round of play, the team scored 300 with
Maria Perakis leading the way with a 74. After three rounds of play, Perakis led the team with a total score of 223. Perakis finished tied for 15th.
Megan Welch finished tied for 25th with a three-round total of 225. After leading the team in the third round, Aromando finished third in the lineup with a three-round score of 226 and tied for 29th.
Allison Pacocha finished the scoring as a team for Bradley with a three-round total of 233.
Mara Flaherty finished up the lineup with a three-round total of 235.
Harriet Barker also played in the tournament as an individual and finished with a total score of 228 and tied for 39th.

This was the final tournament of the regular season for the women's team. The next time they will step on the course is for the Missouri Valley Conference Championship at Annbriar Golf Course in Waterloo, Illinois.
