PEORIA, ILL. – Five Bradley Outdoor Track and Field athletes will compete at the NCAA West Preliminaries beginning on Wednesday, May 24th at Hornet Stadium on the campus of Sacramento State in Sacramento, California. The preliminaries will be held through Saturday, May 27th. 

The top 12 runners in each event earn a spot at the National Championships in Austin, Texas at Mike A. Myers Stadium from June 7th-10th.  

Charlie Parrish (won 3,000m Steeplechase), George Watson (5,000m), Tiana LoStracco (800m, 1,500m) and Peyton Schieppe (5,000m) won conference championships and will look to continue their swiftness on the track in Sacramento.

When the Braves Run
Jack Crull will compete in the first round of the Men's 1,500m on Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. If Crull advances to the next round, Crull will compete at 7:15 on Friday.

George Watson, MVC champion in the 5,000m, will run in the Men's 10,000m in Sacramento. Watson will run on Wednesday at 11:10 p.m. Watson will advance to Austin if he finishes in the top 12 out of 48 runners.

Tiana LoStracco will run in the first round of the Women's 1,500m on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. If LoStracco advances to the next round, she will compete at 7:15 p.m. on Saturday.

Charlie Parrish will compete in the Men's 3,000m Steeplechase on Friday at 7:40 p.m. Parrish will advance to Austin if he finishes in the top three of his heat or is one of the three best times out of runners who didn't get in the top three.

Peyton Schieppe will compete in the Women's 5,000m on Saturday at 10:10 p.m. Schieppe will advance to Austin if she finishes in the top five in her heat or runs one of the top two fastest times from those not already advanced.
