Peoria Ill. – Bradley Women's Golf Head Coach Halley Morell announced the 2023-24 schedule on Thursday for the Braves' 33rd season on the Hilltop.
Bradley kicks off their season on September 3rd and 4th in Kewadin, Michigan, for the Central Michigan A-Ga-Ming Invitational. The next week, the Braves travel down I-74 for the ISU Redbird Invite on September 10th and 11th. To start off the month of October, the Braves will travel to a new event on the schedule and compete in the Kansas State Marilynn Smith Sunflower Invitational on the 2nd and 3rd.
On October 7th and 8th, Bradley will host the Coyote Creek Classic in Bartonville, Illinois. This is the Braves' third straight year hosting the Classic after not hosting an event since the 2017 season. The golfers finished in third place last season and fifth in 2021. Closing out the fall, Bradley will compete at the Little Rock Golf Classic from October 22nd to October 24th in Hot Springs Village, Arkansas.
The Braves will open the new year at a familiar tournament heading back to Rio Verde, Arizona, for the Rio Verde Invite from February 23rd to 25th. The following month, Bradley will again head west to Henderson, Nevada, to compete in the SDSU Jackrabbit Invite on March 11th and 12th.
For the second consecutive season, the Braves will travel to John Creeks, Georgia, on March 25th and 26th for the Georgia State Spring Invite. In their last competition before the MVC Championship, the golfers will compete in the EKU Colonel Classic on April 1st and 2nd.
After a seventh place finish last season, Bradley will compete in the Missouri Valley Conference Championship from April 14th to 16th in St. Louis, Missouri.
"I am very excited for the schedule this season as it comprises a mix of familiar events and new tournaments that will challenge the team. We are again hosting at home on October 7 and 8th and love to see all of the fans on the course supporting our Braves! We will see some new competition this fall at Central Michigan and Kansas State and will make a return to a great event at Little Rock to close out the fall season. The team can't wait to get back out on the course in competition," said head coach Halley Morell.
