CHICAGO, Ill. – Bradley Men's Basketball topped UIC on the road on Saturday afternoon 77-59.
The Braves led the Flames at halftime by a score of 39-26. They tallied 13 points off turnovers and 17 total rebounds. On the defensive side, they had five blocks and three steals.
Duke Deen led Bradley with 18 points after he was 4-for-5 from beyond the arc and 7-for-10 from the field. Connor Hickman tallied eight points and Darius Hannah had four with three rebounds and three assists.
Bradley defeated UIC with a final score of 77-59. They had 35 rebounds in the game, 11 of which were on the offensive side. The Braves only had six turnovers with 13 forced UIC turnovers. Bradley shot 46.6% from the field and 39.1% from the three-point line.
Deen ended the game with 26 points with six three-pointers made in nine attempts. Hickman recorded 22 points after he was 7-for-11 from the field. Malevy Leons had eight points, 12 rebounds, three assists, two blocks and a steal.
Darius Hannah collected seven points, five rebounds, four assists, three steals and a block. Almar Atlason added three assists and Christian Davis contributed four rebounds.
Looking Ahead
Bradley stays on the road next week for a game with Southern Illinois on Jan. 17 at 7 PM. The Braves return home on Jan. 20 to play Belmont at 1 PM. The Braves will welcome Murray State to Carver Arena on Jan. 24 at 6 PM.
