Peoria, IL – Bradley University hosted its annual Alumni Weekend, featuring the 2025 Bradley Baseball team in an exciting match up that highlighted the best turnout of alumni in the event's history.

The weekend started off with a golf outing at Coyote Creek, which was followed by a dinner at Dozer Park. The weekend culminated in the annual alumni scrimmage, where the Braves current roster faced off against former players.

Highlights of the weekend included the retirement of Dewey Kalmer's, #12 jersey, now enshrined in the Peoria Area Hall of Fame. This special tribute celebrated Kalmer's significant contributions to both Bradley Baseball and the community, serving as a poignant moment before the annual scrimmage.

Throughout the weekend, alumni reminisced about their experiences, reflecting on the profound impact of their coaches. The atmosphere was filled with pride and nostalgia, as former players reunited to share stories and rekindle friendships.

"It's great to see because this is what we are known for, as far as building programs," said current Head Coach Elvis Dominguez. "To see so many faces and guys that have gone through here to come back, it's really special."

The event served as a reminder of the rich history and tradition of Bradley Baseball, uniting past and present players in a shared passion for the game.
