PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley Cross Country will host some of the nation's best runners at the 20th edition of the Bradley Pink Classic this Friday, October 18, at Newman Golf Course, just north of the Bradley campus.

The Men's 8K White/Open Division will run at 1:30 p.m., followed by the Women's 6K White/Open Division at 2:15 p.m. At 3:00 p.m., the Men's Red/Invite Division will race, with the Women's Red/Invite Division to follow at 3:45 p.m.

Bradley will compete against some of the top teams in the country in a 54-team field, including MVC rivals Illinois State, Drake, Indiana State, Southern Illinois, UIC, Missouri State and Northern Iowa. Division I teams ranked by USTFCCCA included in this race include Notre Dame (Men #1, Women #1, Great Lakes Region), Michigan (Men #3, Women #5, Great Lakes), Butler (Men #4, Great Lakes), Loyola-Chicago (Men #3, Midwest), Missouri (Men #4, Midwest), Northwestern (Women #3, Midwest) andTulsa (Women #5, Midwest).

Last Time Out
Both teams are coming off the Joe Piane Invitational that saw new top ten times in program history and a new school record. Jayde Rosslee set a new program record in Men's 8K with 23:30.2, breaking the old record by 16 seconds. The women's team finished 13th, while the men finished in 16th.

Previously at the Pink Classic
Last year, Michael Rebello paced the Braves en route to a fourth place finish out of 29 teams in the Men's 8K Red Race. Zach Balzer took home 15th in the white race for third place out of 17 teams. On the women's side, Ashley Maguire's 14th-place finish led the Braves to a 20th place finish.
