Peoria Ill. - The Bradley Braves were defeated by the Valparaiso Beacons and the UIC Flames on the road this weekend.
Match One
The Beacons beat the Braves in four sets on Friday. Freshman Maria Drapp had a solid showing, putting up 24 assists, nine digs, and a service ace. Junior Iva Popovic led the team in kills with 15 while totaling 13 digs. Irene Mostardini led the team with 19 digs.
Match Two
UIC swept Bradley in three sets on Saturday night. Vitoria Oliveira led the team with three blocks while totaling six kills. Mostardini had the team lead in digs again with 15 while getting a service ace. Drapp put up 19 assists while also getting a service ace.

The Braves will continue their road trip on November 1-2 against the Indiana State Sycamores on Friday at 5 p.m. and the Evansville Purple Aces on Saturday at 5 p.m.
