Box Score Peoria, Ill. - The Bradley Braves 2-1 (0-0 MVC) beat the Central Michigan Chippewas 66-57 to end their first road trip of the season on Sunday.
Kaylen Nelson led the team with 17 points while also grabbing two rebounds. Ruba Abo Hashesh found her name across the scoresheet with 11 points, a steal, a block, three rebounds, and two assists. Soleil Barnes had a solid game, putting up 11 points with a steal, two assists, and four boards.
The Braves took an early 12-point lead after the first quarter and never trailed throughout the game. Bradley capitalized on Central Michigan's mistakes, scoring 16 points off of their opponents turnovers.
