Peoria, IL -- Former Bradley Brave Malevy Leons scored his first point in the NBA on Friday night.

Former Bradley Brave Malevy Leons scored his first point in the NBA on Friday night with the Oklahoma City Thunder during their game against the Portland Trail Blazers. Leons was signed to a standard one-year NBA contract by the Thunder earlier this week and appeared in four preseason games with OKC, averaging 5 points per game, 3.8 rebounds per game, and 1.5 steals per game. In the Thunder post-game interview, Leons was asked what it meant for him. Malevy won back-to-back Defensive Player of the Year awards and was named to the All-MVC First Team during his senior year at Bradley.
