In a thrilling back-and-forth matchup at The HTC Center in Conway, SC, Bradley emerged victorious with a hard-fought 77-74 win over Wright State on Friday evening. Both teams traded blows throughout the game, but Bradley's second-half surge helped them seal the victory and improve to 5-1 on the season. Wright State, despite a valiant effort, drops to 4-3.
Bradley Battles Back
Wright State came out strong, shooting an impressive 53.6% from the field (15-28) in the opening period. Brandon Noel led the way for the Raiders with 14 points, hitting 7-of-11 shots, including 2-of-3 from deep. His sharp shooting, along with contributions from Jack Doumbia (10 points), helped Wright State take a 37-35 lead into halftime.
Bradley wasn't far behind, as Zek Montgomery kept them in the game with 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting. The Braves shot just under 50% from the three-point line (5-of-12), but their defense kept the game tight, forcing 7 turnovers and converting them into 10 points off turnovers.
