Peoria Ill. - The Bradley Braves split the weekend series against the Indiana State Sycamores and the Evansville Purple Aces.
Match One
Bradley swept Indiana State in three sets to end their five-game losing streak. The Braves put up 14 service aces across the three sets with junior Iva Popovic leading the team with four while totaling eight kills. Maria Drapp led the team in assists and digs with 18 and 12 while putting up three service aces. Vitoria Oliveira had a team-leading nine kills.
Match Two
The Braves lost to the Purple Aces in five sets on Saturday. Silan Demirkol and Iva Popovic each had 19 kills and two service aces while Demirkol totaled four blocks. Popovic and Karina Simatos tied for the team lead in digs with 14 each. Corrie Brown led the team in assists with 24.

The Braves will come home next week to face the Missouri State Bears on November 8 at 6 p.m. and the Southern Illinois Salukis on November 9 at 5 p.m.
